Alexander Malatyali ( Foto: Selfie without a Stick ) Hello, this is Alexander Malatyali writing. And for those of you who are already wondering… exactly, if you replace the “Y” in my last name with a “J,” you’ll get the pronunciation right. I was born in Upper Swabia and, after a few detours and a career change, ended up in website optimization in the mid-2000s.
I originally studied a respectable profession, but after my military service—which involved cleaning 8x8-foot hospital beds (as a civilian service worker)—I somehow found selling on eBay more interesting. Even back then, it was striking that significantly higher profit margins could be achieved by providing accurate and honest product descriptions and using appealing images. However, the terms “search engine optimization” or even “content optimization” were still completely foreign to me at the time.
In 2005, I launched an online store and was quickly taken advantage of by an SEO agency that cold-called me. Because all that hype and hot air annoyed me so much, I taught myself HTML and SEO within a matter of weeks, just to put a stop to what these people were doing—and it worked.
In 2007, I switched to xt-Commerce and built an online store in the hardware and software sector with well over 80,000 products and approximately 300,000 URLs. To accomplish this, I inevitably had to learn PHP, MySQL, and a few other things, as such enormous amounts of data could no longer be managed manually. The result was that the shop ran autonomously. However, what really emerged was a passion for programming, optimizing, and improving all the processes within the shop, rather than the “usual” online retail.
In 2013, I got out of the mail-order business because smartphones had completely replaced a huge number of products in the electronics industry—and this happened at a time when distributors were undercutting each other and competitors were staying afloat thanks to massive rounds of funding.
In 2014, I moved across the Alb to downtown Reutlingen for two years. From a professional standpoint, having my own office was a total flop, but from a forensic perspective, it was a very exciting and educational time. I eventually left that den of iniquity and have been working in the Upper Swabian backcountry ever since.
What I do
These days, I mainly work on my own projects—such as a guidebook—and am noticeably shifting my focus toward writing. In addition, I advise small online shops and companies on their websites, helping them correct past mistakes and avoid future ones.
Since there’s a lot of nonsense being peddled in this industry, and things like that really stand out to me, a partnership can quickly become lucrative for the client because it will allow them to save significant costs in the future.
Experience & Technology
In the mail-order business, you sometimes encounter extreme challenges, which is why I can easily put myself in the shoes of companies. On top of that, I originally did a lot of technical SEO to mitigate the shortcomings of e-commerce platforms. This includes programming them in such a way that even massive amounts of data can run on affordable servers.
In short, I’m familiar with HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Apache, and other server settings. I’m also familiar with Search Console, AdWords, AdSense, Analytics, the Keyword Planner, and other tools, including those used for social media. I have experience blogging with the WordPress CMS.

SEO Manager
If you look at some job postings, it seems like an SEO manager needs qualifications and degrees on par with a rocket scientist—but in reality, all it takes is a technical mindset, logical thinking, and, above all, a great deal of experience. After 20 years in this industry, I think I can safely call myself one.

Among them are detailed references to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the terrorist attacks on New York (9/11), and COVID-19. This was as early as 1983 and 1988. Topics that the State of Israel has concealed from the U.S. and Germany. The State of Israel assumes that I am the Messiah. However, I was baptized Roman Catholic and am therefore Christian. Humanity must ask itself why, regarding the “Messiah,” the State of Israel has been abducting children worldwide since the 1980s, interrogating and torturing them through intelligence and military means. The Upper Swabia region around Ertingen, in particular, will have to ask itself why almost everyone there has been bugged by U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies, especially since 2009. Starting in 2009, the “Messiah” affair led to the largest intelligence operation in the history of humanity to date in the region, one that dwarfs the NSA scandal. In Ertingen specifically, all phone calls and internet activity have been monitored, and residents have been bugged by the CIA and the Mossad. This has been going on for years and is likely still happening today.
